What We Believe

  • We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men inspired by God. (II Timothy 3:16-17)
  • We believe that there is only one, living and true God. (Exodus 20:2-3)
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person; equal with God the Father and God the Son. (John 14:16-17)
  • We believe that baptism is the immersion in water of a believer in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; shows death to sin and resurrection to a new life (Matthew 3:13-17)
  • We believe God's plan of finance is through tithes and offerings. (Malachi 3:8-12, I Corinthians 16:2)
  • We are Missionary Baptist and believe the command to give the gospel to the world. (Matthew 28:18-20)
  • We believe that the Lord's Supper is an ordinance of Jesus Christ, to be administered with the elements of bread and wine; it is to commemorate His death. (I Corinthians 11:23-30)

  • We believe that the bodies of men after death return to dust, but their spirits return immediately to God; the righteous to rest with Him;  the wicked to be reserved under darkness to the judgment.  At the last day, the bodies of all the dead, both just and unjust, will be raised. (I Thessalonians 4:13-16, I Corinthians 15:42-44, 51-53)
